Dexel studio is an iustrial design and engineering wing dedicated to provide total solution in product design right from concept to manufacturing support through concurrent Engineering platform. Dexel Technologies is an engineering, design management company in Bangalore, India. Dexel is a ‘first-of-Its-kind’ design studio in electronic and mechanical design with a broad perspective of product design. Dexel’s objective is to grow and build expertise in these core competencies to be world leaders in providing product design solutions that address the design needs of engineering applications.
The core design team consists of post-graduates and graduates, specialized in industrial design, ergonomics, graphics, multimedia/animation, material technology, tooling & manufacturing. The design portfolio consists of innovative works in the area of Transportation, Industrial Equipment, Home Electronics & Appliances & Medical equipment design.
The design ateam at Dexel studio can also work with the customer styling and marketing project team to provide early concept and feasibility work for establishing product features and packaging parameters, as well as Bill of Material development. From Concept approval and raw pick data, experienced Dexel studio designers develop product surfaces in CADto customer specification, and under engineering direction, and support by the manufacturing team at Dexel studio.
The Dexel studio design team continues to support the product development process right up to and through start of production.
PRODUCT RENDERING & ANIMATION
The visual impact of a concept to a great extent determines the acceptability of the product in the market. The initial visual representation is an important link between the manufacturer and the end user.
Dexel Studio leverages this understanding in the field of visual communication, to deliver quality, photo realistic 3D models of either concepts or products through 3D modelling with textures and lightings, Product walk-throughs and walk-arounds to create a realistic visual impact through virtual models.
QUALITY SYSTEM & PROCESS
he execution of projects at Dexel studio has been aligned to a well-defined Quality Management System (QMS). The goal is to build a culture for quality in the true spirit of improving project deliverables
The defined QMS ensures robust mechanisms and processes for contract development and approval, project planning and tracking, project status reviews, engineering life-cycle activities, audits, configuration management and purchase. Complete transparency of information flow between Dexel studio and the client will be ensured through the defined processes. Clients will receive the same project status reports that are sent to Dexel studio’s managers. Clear problem/issue escalation mechanisms will be defined, documented and agreed upon both by the client and Dexel studio before the execution of a project.
MODEL & PROTOTYPE SHOPE
Dexel studio provides rapid and functional prototyping services through its in-house prototype facility and through its associates.
Dexel studio’s manufacturing specialists can advise clients on all aspects of production methods. Dexel studio engineers have previously assisted manufacturers in the development of injection molding and press tool designs. Dexel studio has specialist experience and capability in vacuum forming and FRP molding methods.
